God has a plan

It's natural for a beautiful young woman to fall in love with a godly young man and get married. Jochebed was such a young woman, and she became the wife of Amram, who was from the priestly tribe of Levi. They were blessed and gave birth to a beautiful boy. She had her son during a time when her people were being held captive and were no longer treated like citizens. She didn't know what would happen to her son, but like every mother, I'm sure she hoped that he would become something great. one day some of her neighbors told her that they had heard about a plan of their greedy, selfish, cruel leader to kill all the baby boys in their towns. She couldn't bear that thought- what mother could? She finally decided to put her beautiful baby in a basket and set him in the water a little way from their home. She sent her young daughter to watch him to make sure he remained safe. The little girl had to hide in the tall reeds so she wouldn't be seen. The basket began to slowly float down stream, and the baby's sister followed it with her heart pounding fast. Suddenly she noticed that it was going into an area that was strictly forbidden to them. Before she could move the basket away, a wealthy woman who was a member of the royal house there saw the basket and opened the lid. The little girl was so frightened, she didn't know what to do. Anything could happen. The woman adopted the baby, and instead of having him killed, she saved his life and raised him as her own son. GOD HAS A PLAN

The boy grew up on that estate. It was the wealthiest property in that area. It belonged to the governor who was so desperate to keep his power, that he made a law to have all the male babies killed to ensure that he wouldn't lose his power to one of them. The ruler didn't know about the baby that the princess had adopted. The boy was so beautiful and smart that everyone on that estate loved him, and soon so did all the citizens. He especially found favor in the governers eyes. GOD HAS A PLAN.

You know how children are, they begin to think you don't know everything, and they begin to question authority. This happened with the boy, who was now a young adult. His disagreement with the head of the estate led to him being kicked out. He went to a strange place, but found a wife among good people. He learned their trade. GOD HAS A PLAN

He was called one day by God to do a big job after having learned the ways of the rich and educated and after learning the trade of his in-laws. He set a people free. He was the only person who could go before that royal house and make demands without being killed, because they loved him and the people loved him, so it would have caused a riot. He had learned how to take care of the people he was to lead away into great promise, from his in-laws. They were shepherds. GOD HAS A PLAN.
What man meant for evil, God turned into good.
That baby boy who was found by the princess and raised on the palacial estate.
who should have been killed, not once, but twice
who was trained to understand the lives and cultures of both peoples,
was called MOSES.

IT WAS GOD'S PLAN

If you are struggling today due to the financial situations of your state or country, remember that what man messes up and causes to look hopeless, God can turn around for good in your life. GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU.
Faith is substance.
Today I spoke with a young woman who was experiencing a job shift due to cut backs.  She had been disappointed, but she pulled herself together so that she could work without looking disappointed.  She got through the week, and then as is her habit, she went to church on Sunday.  She was sitting and hoping that there would be a word for her, when her priest said something that just stuck in her heart.  He began to quote the Serenity Prayer.  "Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
As she went through that day she saw that prayer over and over again.  She thought it was interesting that she saw it in so many places, but didn't really stop to reflect.  Later that afternoon, she and her mom went shopping.  They went into a place that had little things that could be used to decorate a room.  She found a poster that she thought had a beautiful background and on closer inspection, she found that it had the serenity prayer at the bottom.  She and her mom found 3 more beautiful posters for their wall, and quite by accident they discovered on each one, even though they were different pictures, and located in different sections of that area, that they all had the serenity prayer on them.  She said that she finally looked up to the heavens and said, "o.k. God, I've got it".  Her peace returned to her, and she knew that God had the situation well in hand, and that He would indeed "Make all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose."

Today,  as you read in the paper, or see around you, so many things that are changing, make sure you ask God to help you "accept the things you cannot change", "have the courage to change the things that you can, and most of all that He would bless you with "the wisdom to know the difference".

God Bless.  He will make today better than yesterday for you if you let Him.  Just believe.

What we believe

Nothing can affect you except what you believe.
Do you think life is hard? What do you believe? If you believe you can make it, you will.
I know what you see right now, you see crime, pain, lay-offs, fear, but -What do you believe?
Don't be led by circumstances, be led by what you believe. If you believe you can make it, you will.

BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A WAY -"We always triumph in Christ"
BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN MAKE IT -"We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us"
BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE MORE THAN THEY SAY YOU ARE -"As a man thinketh, so is he"
BELIEVE - "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen".

I believe in God the Father Almighty. That means I believe that limitless, promising, hopeful, events will be a part of my life, no matter what people say, and no matter what current events look like.

I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of my life.
That means I don't believe that man is in control of my life. I know that I make the choices, but I also know that God guides my steps. He blessed me with all that I needed when I had nothing. He is loving and kind, and He is in control of my life. He is Jehovah Jirah - The God who provides.

I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I believe that he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and that he suffered, died, and was buried.
I believe that He rose on the third day. I believe that his death is the reason I have salvation.
I believe that He is with me. I feel His presence with me. He is a living saviour.
I believe in the Holy Spirit of God. He is the third person of the Godhead, and He is life. It is because of His presence that we are able to experience the spiritual gifts of God and that we can use those gifts to benefit mankind.

I don't have to worry, I believe that He is my shepherd and that He is always with me.

I don't have to seek approval of man, I have to seek approval of God.
He has proven time, and time again that His love is worth the sacrifice we must make. we remember as we turn from the world that His sacrifice was greater. "For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son that whomsoever believeth in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16

You are not alone. I am not alone. God is with us. You will be ok. Just
