Pray for Trayvons family. Pray for weak politicians who support money and not "The People". Pray for peace.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty and miraculous name of Jesus - the Christ.  Lord we ask for peace for the family of Trayvon and for the families of ever child who has been senselessly taken away by violence.  Father, please be  a gentle breeze that surrounds them and bathe them in your love.  Give them peace and clarity.  Help them to see the love and mercy that you grant to your children.  Remind them that Jesus wept when he felt sorrowful and He is God.  He feels their pain and knows their sorrow.  Remind them that they will see their loved ones again when He comes again.  I pray that their friends will not forget their sorrow and that they will continue to love and comfort these families until they can stand on their own again.
Lord, you told us to pray for our leaders, and so we lift up our congress and all of our leaders both elected and appointed.  I pray that they would begin to reason together for the betterment of mankind and not for special interests.  Lord, please give us wisdom so that we can replace those politicians who will not serve us and protect our children.  Please help us to see what is right and who will follow you.  I pray that they begin to work together not for banks and financiers and the rich, powerful men who manipulate our country and the leaders of the world for their own selfish pleasure.  Help the congress to work with our president and when the dust of the election settles, force them to work together for us.
Father, please let us experience the "peace that passes all understanding".  Help us in our fears and sorrow to experience your peace.  When there is peace in our hearts, there will be peace in our homes.  When there is peace in our homes, there will be peace in our communities, when there is peace in our communities, there will be peace in our cities, our counties, our states, our country, and finally the world.  That is our goal.  Peace.  Lord help us in Jesus name.  Amen.
