"My God shall supply my needs according to His riches in glory.
Sometimes we forget that we don't have to do things alone. We try and try, we strive and push, and finally something happens. Why did it take so long? Perhaps there was a spiritual battle. Perhaps God had to straighten out some other things first. We don't know why things take time, but we do know that God is not a "drive thru" God.When He answers prayer, he has to make sure that every person who may be affected by the prayer you prayed will be alright and won't experience any negative effect. When a jet goes by a neighborhood on it's way to the landing strip, there is motion in the atmosphere that causes something to happen in other spaces. Sometimes houses shake. Sometimes there is a sound that is a little disruptive. the air around the plane rumbles and shakes. God doesn't want our answered prayer to shake someone else's house, because He cares about them, too, so maybe it takes a while for your prayer to be answered. Maybe it isn't the answer you expected or wanted, but remember, the God who knows what will happen from the beginning of your life to the end, is working according to your faith while considering the impact on others. You are important. He's not ignoring you. You aren't alone. God hears you and is answering. The answer will come at just the right time. Not in your time....in His time....the right time.
