Singing songs

Has a song or hymn ever just popped into your head? Do you find yourself humming, or singing along? At first you don't pay attention,  but the song keeps playing in your head. The next time it happens,  pay attention to the words.  Say to the Lord, "Father, are you speaking to me?"  Sometimes He is sending a message through the words in the song. They may be words of comfort, or knowledge, or even of warning.  Think about what's going on in your life and see if the song is relevant.  If they are, pray and ask God to help you understand.  Colossians 3:16.  Don't guess and go it alone. "Lean not unto your own understanding of things, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. " proverbs 3:5-6
