Heavenly Father, we praise you for this day! We give you thanks, glory, honor and praise because of your love and mercy toward us. Father we lift up this day to you and we ask that you would bless it. Please be a light and a lamp to us. Lead us and guide us into your righteousness and help us to follow your will for our lives. Father, please lift us over the potholes of life today and make the rough places plain. Help us to represent you in all that we say and do. May we be both light to the world and peace to the turmoil. This we pray with hands clasped and eyes lifted up. In Jesus name. Amen
